Manmaker from Swedish Supplements is the new generation of T-boosters. Based on the latest research and experience of synergic relationships between the constituent substances. By far the most important hormone for male health is testosterone, which is what gives men a greater musculature than women, body hair and other typically male characteristics. With age, our ability to form testosterone decreases and in addition, we are negatively affected by lifestyle factors such as stress, overweight, poor diet rich in sugars, high alcohol consumption and inactivity. Levels start falling after the age of 20 and it is estimated that one in five men over the age of 60 suffer from a lack of testosterone today. The result is increased fat storage around the abdomen and chest, a weakened muscle, failing desire and libido, depression and sometimes difficulty sleeping. People have started talking about a male menopause. So, what can we do about it? In a unique formula we come across some of the most famous testosterone enhancing substances on the market today. A testosterone booster works much like when you “map” your car i.e., optimize what is already there for the system to function as optimally as possible. Thus, a testosterone booster does not add any external testosterone or substance that is converted into testosterone but works by influencing various mechanisms so that the end-of-life production works as well as possible.

In the body there is something called SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) when the body is unbalanced and there is too high a proportion of the testosterone that is bound to this substance. About 60% of your total testosterone is bound to binding globulin (SHBG), making the male hormone inaccessible for the body to use directly. If you can prevent SHBG from capturing and binding part of the testosterone, you theoretically have a higher proportion of free testosterone in your blood. Furthermore, there is LH hormone which comes from the pituitary gland and signals to the testes of the man to produce testosterone. If one can stimulate LH production, it will result in an increased production signal of testosterone. Testosterone is also converted using the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase to DHT (known to cause hair loss and prostate enlargement at too high levels). If we can reduce this enzyme’s impact, we will in theory get more free testosterone.
Both men and women have testosterone and estrogen in the body. However, men should have about 10ggr more testosterone than women to function normally. The body has an enzyme called aromatase that controls the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. Too high a level of estrogen causes unwanted fat storage, among other things. If a substance is added that may inhibit the action of aromatase, this risk is reduced.

Ingredients

3,4divanillyltetrahydrofuran – nettle extract that works by lowering the content of SHBG (six hormone binding globulin) and thus increasing the level of free testosterone in the blood. Today, nettle extract is generally used to support prostate health, urinary comfort, and sexual function. Nettle extract seems to work through three mechanisms that can support healthy testosterone levels: inhibit aromatase (reduces the conversion of testosterone to estrogen), inhibition of 5a reductase (reduces the conversion of testosterone to DHT), blockage of SHBG (provides more freely unbound testosterone in the blood).

Broccoli extract rich in indole-3-carbinol (I3C) I3C exhibits hormone balancing effects that can increase levels of testosterone in certain situations. I3C is used to promote the metabolism of estrogenic compounds. It can prevent levels of estrogen from getting too high or too low. It has also been shown to inhibit the effects of the aromatase enzyme. Researchers from the University of Kansas Medical Center have discovered that IC3 and tamoxifen (prescription estrogen receptor antagonist) both blocked estrogen (via different mechanisms).

Zinc contributes to normal protein synthesis, normal testosterone levels in the blood, normal functioning of the immune system, normal fertility and reproduction, and protects cells from oxidative stress. Low zinc levels, which many Swedish men suffer from, prevent the pituitary gland from releasing “luteinizing” hormones (LH) needed to stimulate testosterone production in the testes. Increased zinc levels release more LH, so that the body’s production of testosterone increases. The body cannot store or manufacture zinc so that an adequate intake from the diet or supplementation is necessary. Sexually active men break down zinc quickly and lose about 5 mg of zinc per ejaculation. Active training men lose the mineral through the sweat.

Magnesium, which is the 11th most abundant mineral in the body, is an important compound involved in several biochemical reactions, including protein synthesis, muscle contractions, nerve conduction, blood pressure, heart rhythm, blood sugar regulation and much more. Given its different roles in over 300 bodily functions, Mg is both an incredibly simple and absurdly complex mineral.
Magnesium facilitates sleep and suppresses anxiety (perhaps by blocking cortisol, the body’s stress hormone). Long and healthy sleep as well as low levels of cortisol are associated with higher levels of free and total testosterone. Magnesium can help facilitate the formation of testosterone directly, and it can also indirectly help boost testosterone by blocking cortisol and improving sleep. So in addition to getting stronger and having higher levels of testosterone, you are also likely to experience better and longer sleep, Magnesium helps lower SHBG and thus raises levels of “free” testosterone.

Fenugreek extract (fenugreek clover) – well known and long used because this herb contains over 100 phytochemical ingredients such as furostanol saponins as well as steroidal saponins. Traditionally, fenugreek has been used to increase libido and strengthen the immune system. However, Fenusterol is a unique extract of Fenugreek that is standardized into a unique blend of saponin glycosides that Sabinsa has called Fenusterol. These constituents of Fesnusterol can support healthy sexual desire and vitality, muscle mass, free testosterone levels in men and help reduce normal symptoms of Andropause in men. One mechanism believed to have been found is Fenusterol blocking 5-alpha-reductase and thus the conversion of testosterone to DHT.

Boron has long been associated with testosterone levels, some research suggests that boron helps the body absorb calcium which stimulates the production of the steroid hormone testosterone and estrogen in men and women. The effects from boron also include increasing serum levels of magnesium, zinc and vitamin D, as well as a Reduction in oestradiol and sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), both of which inhibit testosterone activity.
